Abstract | To realize the efficient alignment of the TMA system, the aberrations in a misaligned TMA system had been analyzed theoretically in this paper. Firstly, based on the nodal aberration theory (NAT), the aberration types and characteristics in the misaligned TMA system had been concluded; Secondly, a simulation validation had been carried out to testify the analysis results, the simulation results validates the aberration characteristics; Finally, the alignment procedures were determined according to the aberration characteristics: Adjust the axial spacing of the mirrors in terms of Z9 in the center field of TMA system first; and then, adjust the decenters and tilts of the mirrors in terms of Z5-Z8in the edge field of TMA system. This method is helpful for the alignment of the TMA telescope. © 2016 SPIE. |
