AbstractWe present a wave-front sensor-less adaptive optics (AO) system for a Nd:YAG Zigzag slab amplifier. A 39-element rectangular piezoelectric deformable mirror in combination with a stochastic parallel gradient descent (SPGD) algorithm is introduced for both static and thermal aberrations correction.
