AbstractBased on the wavefront residual errors of adaptive optical system and their effect on imaging performance, the bandwidth matching relationship of tracking and higher-order servo loops is derived in this paper. The bandwidth requirements for tracking and higher-order compensations as function of the composite imaging Strehl ratio are presented. The results show that when the tracking correction bandwidth f(E-tilt) and the higher-order correction bandwidth f(E-fig) satisfy
