英文摘要: The fillerless erbium-doped fiber laser can generale continuous -wave broadband when highly nonlinear fibers are inserted into the cavity. In this work we demonstrate a linear cavity filterless erbium-doped fiber laser. The spatial-hole burning (SHB) effect in the linear cavity fiber laser is important for the CW broadband generation. When the pump power is 300 mW, the bandwidth of the laser with SHB effect is 51.77 nm while the bandwidth of the laser without SHB effect is 18.14 nm. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
